THANK YOU JESUS!!
Well folks the Lord has Blessed us with yet another BEAUTIFUL day here at the ranch. The sun is shining and the temperatures are on the way up. Currently it is 51 degrees and hardly any wind at all. Praise the Lord for this AWESOME day!!! Don and I didn't work on the round pen today we are just being lazy I guess. We went out and fed this morning and of course I groomed and loved the horses then we came back in the house to fix lunch. I am working on getting a couple fundraisers for the rescue planned out and also working on a news letter for the rescue. I believe we are going to try to have a monthly news letter if I can just get things organized for it. I will post more info on here about the fund raisers as I get it all organized. Right now we are working on a spaghetti dinner and gospel concert with Heavens Highway playing. In May we are planning to have a chili supper with a Blue Grass festival and pie auction. Book work Blah!!!!!!
Well folks today I started working on getting our 2011 year end tax stuff ready and am working on spread sheet for 2012. I am THE WORST at letting the book work pile up and pile up then having to get it all done at once. But this year I am going to turn over a new leaf and keep it logged in the spread sheet as I go. Then at the end of the year I already have every thing in order just gotta put the figures to it. I do all our paperwork and taxes because one time Don and I paid a cpa to do our taxes cause we thought he would get us the best deductions and all, Well I paid the man $300.00 and I ended up having to redo our taxes myself. Soooo I vowed then that I would not ever pay anyone to figure my taxes again. The IRS has offices and them folks there are always glad to help me out. In fact that year I paid to have them done the cpa said I owed money and when the lady at the IRS office helped me we found that I actually got some back. So I learned my lesson on that and I learned really how easy it is to figure your own taxes. I do take some classes every year to make sure I am up to date on everything but I take them through the IRS and guess what they are free! Well anyway folks gotta run now and get ready for work. Glory Glory Another Blessed day here at the Ranch
Well folks just wanted to check in a post for ya all today!! It is a rainy day here and the ranch so we are just staying inside just kickin back today. I am off to work in about 30 minutes and was told yesterday anyone with a back log needed to work 10's this week and guess what I have a back log so mornings are not early for me this week but i will sure be loving it when i get the check. LOL. Don went out and fed horses this morning while i had my coffee, read my Bible and got dressed then i hit the kitchen. I made some AWESOME Chicken vegetable soup with indian fried bread and some peanut butter cookies for lunch. Now i gotta get off here and head to work for the evening. I think we are going to try to trail ride in the morning before i have to go to work so I might not be able to get on the computer tomorrow.
